1. What we collect on this website

• Contact form: your name, email address, optional phone, the topic you choose and your message.
• Server logs: IP address, browser type, page requested and time, kept for up to 30 days for security and troubleshooting.
• No tracking: this website sets no advertising or analytics cookies and loads no third-party tracking scripts.

2. How we use it

• To answer your message and provide support.
• To process account deletion and privacy requests.
• To keep our website and products secure and prevent abuse.
• To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

3. Sharing

We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share it only with service providers that help us run our products (for example, hosting, email delivery and payment processing) under contracts that limit their use of it, when the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of people or our company. If our company is reorganized or sold, information may transfer to the successor under this policy.

4. Retention

Contact form messages are kept for 24 months and then deleted. Server logs are kept for up to 30 days. Account data in a product is kept while the account is open and deleted as described on the Account Deletion page. Billing records are kept as long as tax and accounting law requires, usually seven years.

5. Security

We encrypt connections to our website and products, restrict administrative access to our own staff, and run our products on servers we administer ourselves. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your information we will notify you as the law requires.

6. Your choices and rights

You can ask us to access, correct, download or delete your personal information, and to stop using it for any purpose you have not agreed to. Residents of states with consumer privacy laws (including California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas and others) have these rights by law, and we extend them to all users. Email privacy@valueproof.net or use the contact form. We verify requests before acting and reply within 45 days. We will not discriminate against you for using these rights.

7. Children

Our products are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Where data is processed

Our servers may be located outside your state or country, including in the European Union. Wherever data is stored, this policy applies.

9. Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page; material changes are announced on this site before they take effect.
